Stephanie Hofman, Residential Real Estate Broker, Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate, Highland Park, IL

My Mission It’s more important now than ever before to have a Realtor® on your side to help you navigate today’s challenging marketplace. As a real estate broker, I am not simply a “salesperson.” My goal is to be an educator, guide and advocate throughout the entire process. To that end, I keep my clients up to date on all relevant developments in the marketplace. I will tell you what you need to hear so that you have a clear understanding of the housing market.

The Hallmarks of My Business Attention to detail, genuine concern for my clients, unmatched levels of personal service and communication, sharp negotiating skills, thorough and timely market knowledge, personal experience buying and selling in 2010, and the desire to provide the best real estate experience possible are the characteristics that set me apart from every other agent out there. From our initial conversation through closing (and beyond!), I’ll show you the highest level of personal attention, professionalism and focus to ensure that your real estate goals are achieved.

My Background, Experience & Accolades With over 18 years experience in the fields of marketing, sales and client services, I bring a passion for residential real estate and a client-centric approach to my practice.  I earned a Master’s Degree from Northwestern University in Integrated Marketing Communications after earning my undergraduate degree from Brandeis University. I then worked in client services for two different advertising agencies and in pharmaceutical sales for ten years before following my passion into real estate. These invaluable experiences combine to give me a broad base of knowledge and skills essential to being a successful Realtor®.

Having lived most of my life in Highland Park, I have an intimate knowledge of the town, and the North Shore as a whole.

I’ve Been Where You Are…

I recently sold my own home and purchased a new one, so I approach each seller and buyer with a level of empathy and honesty, plus a perspective on the market, that most other agents don’t have.  I always have my clients’ best interest at heart, and will tell you what you NEED to know to get your house sold, not what you WANT to hear–it’s crucial to have the most clear and realistic understanding of the market possible. I don’t just talk the talk, I’ve walked the walk in this challenging market, so you can trust my advice.

An array of professional and academic experience that combine to make a great real estate broker!
I bring over 15 years experience in the fields of marketing, sales and client service, plus a passion for residential real estate and a client-centric approach to my business. As an advertising account executive and a pharmaceutical sales rep, I learned the importance of managing my clients’ businesses and tailoring a marketing message to the right audience.  I earned an undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and a Master’s Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University where I learned how to put together a cohesive marketing plan and leverage all types of media, including social media and blogging.
Real Estate Successes
I am certified in short sales and foreclosures, which is an all-to-common scenario in today’s market. My first years in the business have wonderful – In 2009 I earned my office’s Rookie of the Year honor, and in 2010 was featured in Realtor Magazine Online.  I have experience working with couples going through the process of divorce and balancing both parties’ wants and need. I also focus on working with seniors, as they transition to the next phase it their lives, as well as overseeing estate sales.

I grew up in the Sherwood Forest neighborhood of Highland Park, IL, and moved back here after completing college and grad school.

After being home with my two children, ages 10 and 12, and spending lots of time with them and doing fundraising for their schools as well as Children’s Memorial Hospital, I decided to follow my passion for homes into the residential real estate business.

In March, 2009, I earned my real estate license and got started! It was a great first year – I  earned the Rookie of the Year honor and was featured  in Realtor Magazine online – and I am looking forward to many more!
